I'm hoping to find a roleplay-focused campaign with a group who is invested in long term character arcs and in each other's backstories. I also have some interest in warhammer 40k but know significantly less about that. Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7pm est except wed. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I've played D&D constantly for about 6 years, and I've my it the only thing I really do outside of school and work and such. I really enjoy D&D, not particularly because of the combat or roleplay, but more so because of the pure creativity and lore in campaigns. It sparks my mind in ways I can't usually which is one of the reasons for me enjoying it so much. I do still like combat and roleplay a lot though, but I might struggle to get into my characters voice sometimes. In terms of what I like to play, I dabble in a little bit of everything. I've played all the way from homebrew campaigns, to roleplay campaigns, to oficial campaigns, all the way to oneshots. I've played every genre immaginable ranging from high-fantasy, low-fantasy, sci-fi, historical, modern, horror, and puzzle.

I can do Tuesday and Wednesday evenings pretty regularly and I am very reliable when it comes to game commiments. I enjoy player drive narratives, a balanced mix of combat and roleplay (system dependent), and the rule of the narraritve and cool over being chained by rules. I do like my games either quite dark like Call of Cthulhu, Alien and Dungeons of Drakkenheim or the complete opposite, light and funny like Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

Hi there! I'm looking for a game with people who love the comradery of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Experience: I haven't played for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a player. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. Fun Fact: The Artemis II launch wasn't the first time I've seen a crewed moon launch. I don't have a specific character in mind at the moment, and would prefer to come up with one after having a better idea of what the setting is like, and what the party is missing. I've played in a handful of games using the 2014 rules but I find 2024's changes in the lore, classes (mainly monk), and rules super interesting and I've been itching to try them out! As for the kind of game I'd be interested in playing in, I'd like to play in a heroic fantasy type game that is equal parts fun combat and character roleplay. I like joking around in my games but I'm also invested in the game's story and characters and I'm able to be serious during important moments. other small things: - I don't like ai being used in games - I would apprieciate a battle map during combat. It could just be a blank grid with tokens, I just struggle with theater of the mind. I'm available on any day except Thursdays.

Open to in-person or online gaming. I have kids, so working around family schedule is a consideration. Generally, I lean to more narrative gaming than combat oriented. A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've played a long 5e campain in the past (over a year with weekly online / Discord meetups), but i am not so interested in most 5e anymore. I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! Do not message me if you use AI for your game!!! I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. My schedule is both free and a mess. I'm in other games; One I'm running on Wednesdays, one I'm in every other Thursday, and another that's supposed to be starting soon on Saturdays and Mondays. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. Hello there! My name is Blaze, I'm a 27 y/o transfem, and I've recently decided to dive into learning about World of Darkness and giving it a shot. I've currently bought the core books for Vampire, Werewolf, and Hunter (all 5e) and am down for learning and playing those, or trying out the 20th anniversary games (though I'd need some way of accessing the rules for those). I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 8am to 12pm PST (sometimes available late at night depending on my work schedule). I'd love to find a group to explore the world of gothic punk horror with! I like strong and engaging roleplay, with plenty of opportunities to explore my and others' characters, though I also enjoy a good combat. I can be a bit shy with new groups, but if the group is willing to welcome me in, I usually open up pretty fast. I'm still learning about WoD, but if I were to give some thought about character types I might wanna play (I've only skimmed the rulebooks so far): Vampire: Brujah, Tzimice, Nosferatu, or maybe Ventrue Werewolf: Bone Gnawer, Black Fury, Ghost Council, Hart Warden, or Silent Strider Hunter: Inquisitive, Faithful, or Underground Mage: Dunno much, but I'd probably lean towards a Traditions character, though Technocracy could be fun too The rest: I don't know enough about player options in the other games.

Hello! My name is Jamie, I have been playing 5e (2014/2024) for a little over two years and am currently looking for a weekly group for evenings (GMT). The best days for me are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. I would like to think I am very reliable and would be able to commit to showing up on time to sessions for as long as our campaign runs for outside of life getting in the way. I am a huge fan of Character creation and development, everything including the core mechanical side, their history, motivation, behaviour, all the way up to the flavour of their actions inside and out of combat. I also find myself deeply immersed in worlds and stories, the more depth the better. In terms of tone or the focus of the campaign I am also happy with almost anything! A light and goofy world hopping adventure or a dark and serious political conflict, and anything around or in between, as long as there is opportunity to learn about the world and our characters' places in it I'm a huge fan. As for systems again I am most comfortable and experienced with the 5e systems and would slightly lean towards the 2024 edition, I would however be very happy to try out any system new to me as learning new mechanics is also very fun for me.

Greetings adventurers! I'm Dan, I'm a ttrpg player and game master looking for more opportunities to enjoy stories with good folks! My main focus in any game (as either gm or player) is the collaborative storytelling experience. It's the single most important part of the experience to me. To that end, I find that the details of that experience changes depending on the system that is being used. If combat is a core part of that system (like in dnd) I expect there to be some combat. Right now I am most interested in heroic fantasy stories and gravitate towards games and systems in that genre (Daggerheart, DnD, PF2E, etc) but I am open minded and in general interested in branching out to new systems. Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

Hello, experienced PF2e player looking to get into a new game now that my regular late-week game has been cancelled. My first foray into TTRPGS was DnD 3.5 when I played a couple of times with some college friends after one of them saw me doodle maps and read my endless world-building notes. it wasn't until years later, when I was asked to join a Pathfinder 1e game, that I fell in love with TTRPGs. It's definitely my main hobby now. I've been steadily playing Pathfinder since 2016, both as a player and a GM. I moved to Pathfinder 2e in 2020 and have embraced that as my system of choice. I'm also open to playing Starfinder 2e since it uses the same core rules as PF2e. I'm already GMing a game so am not looking to run another, just want to be a player. I have experience using Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, and Foundry, though my preference would be to join a game that utilizes Foundry. I've utilitzed Discord for all the games that I've ran and have participated in. I'm available Thursdays through Saturdays, earliest I could start is 7pm CST, the latest I am able to stay in game is 12am CST. On Saturdays I'm much more flexible with my time. I would describe my play style as pretty versatile. I enjoy getting deep into role playing my characters, being strategic in combat, and deep diving into the rules and managing my resources. I like playing characters with a diverse skill set rather than focusing heavily into a single thing and will admit to being a min-maxer. I've since played and ran games of Pathfinder, DnD5e, Fate, and several others for shorter periods. I'm currently DM'ing a 5E (2014) game, and playing in two PF1 campaigns. As a player, I'm open to pretty much anything... I like character-drive games with intrigue, but I also like a good brawl, dungeon crawl, or anything in-between. With my background in D&D3.5 and PF1 I am pretty systems-driven, but I can handle more rules-light systems just fine. I enjoy designing my characters starting from a concept, and I love having them fit in the world we create, with a proper background that makes sense, member of an organization somewhere... to link the character to the world. I have mostly marked systems I'm already familiar with to some degree, but I'm curious about many more, and I pick up gaming systems very quickly. Time-wise, I'm pretty flexible.
