/waves  Hi! I'm a very new TTRPG player - I started playing my first campaign when Daggerheart released Summer 2025. I'm nearly a year in and loving it! Looking for more. :) Though I still feel like a new player, I'm a lifelong reader of sci-fi/fantasy and I've played WoW (so casually!) since 2008. I love story, world-exploration, homebrew creativity [that's my GM, but I love it], in-character interactions. I like to play magic-user characters, ordinary people driven by circumstance to become more, and I'm not a combat-focused player - I do tend to try to talk things out first and find out what's happening.  When I create a PC, I look at the world and ask 'what if' for a character. What if a nobleman in a nation at war had been a traitor, and his daughter found out at his death? What if a wizard left her home to make a new one and then became a refugee? What if a seraph dedicated to keeping the history of her god was sent to investigate a cult-filled town [that was a fun one-shot!]? I want my PC to belong in the world and have real connections to it. I love Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Murderbot, Deed of Paksenarrion, Mary Stewart - too many to list. Heroes, adventures, discovery. When you drop the lore-bomb is when I light up - and add it to my notes! Online only. Available Mon, Wed, Thurs roughly 9am-6pm EST. I don't miss without notice and very rarely - holidays and travel is about it. A weekly game would be perfect but I'm open to other schedules. Play by Post maybe. Cannot do weekends. American but my schedule works pretty well for a European/UK table.
