Hello! My name is Parker, a sophomore in high school somewhere in the US. I'm looking for a group to play with, Dungeon Master and other players, online, on discord or roll20 or whatever other platform, and in D&D 5e (2014 or 2024, makes little to no difference to me)! I've been wanting to play for a couple months now, so I've done some reading, made other characters, and listened to plenty of Legends of Avantris, enough to know how the game is played, but just was never able to myself! The character I have made, to keep things simple for myself and engaging to learn, is actually a fantasy-AU interpretation of one of my favorite canon characters: Korekiyo Shinguji! Started playing almost 10 years ago when i heard a friend of mine in our drama class talking about this brand new Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Never heard of it, decided to try it, got addicted. C'est la vie. From then on i fell in love with the TTRPG world, tried various system (Cyberpunk, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade and many more), I even tried mastering once or twice. As a player I'm very invested in character creation and writing backgrounds, i like to make sure that my PCs are living beings in the world and to narrate their stories through my interpretation. I love to roleplay, to interact with the world, other players and the story. I tend to stay in character but never had a problem with kicking back a bit and goof off with the rest of the party. Hello everyone! I am completely new to this website, and this is my first post, having been brought here by recommendation. My name is Michael, I am a 24-year-old guy who has recently started playing DND officially and not just obsessively watching online groups, which I've been doing for the last few years. I am a huge fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, and I am looking for a group or campaign that is FREE to join! I emphasize "free" because I am already in a paid DND campaign and can't afford another paid campaign at the moment, so I hope you understand! Experience with VtM: I have no experience with the tabletop beyond watching online groups playing, though I do have a few of the books online via Demiplane (Corebook, Player's Guide, Chicago by Night). The online chronicles I've seen are NY by Night, while I am still watching LA by Night and Ancestral Blood, so I do have fore-knowledge on how VtM games may flow, even if I don't have all the rules memorized! Beyond the tabletop I have played various video games (Redemption, Bloodlines, Bloodlines 2, Swansong, Blood Hunt), I have played through visual novels (NY visual novel trilogy), I have recently started some interactive novels (Parliament of Knives, Night Road), and have started some of the novels (Clan Novel Toreador, Dark Ages Clan Novel Nosferatu, Grail Covenant)! I am also definitely going to watch that old, semi-accurate show "Kindred: The Embraced" soon! Experience with Tabletops: I have been a fan of tabletops, mainly DND, for a few years now via online groups and podcasts, most notably Critical Role. I am also a small-time fan of groups like MagiRPG, Legends of Avantris, and Dice Times. I know how TTRPGs flow and especially how to roleplay, as that is and always has been my favorite aspect of TTRPGs! I started my first ever DND campaign a few months ago, and have been enjoying it very much and have been learning about all the mechanics! As for VtM, I understand all the general rules of play having read through the books I have purchased on Demiplane and I feel I have a good grasp of it. All I am lacking is the actual experience, which I am hoping to soon rectify! What I Have to Offer As A Player: I am the kind of player who takes the game very seriously, in that I am a great note taker, I go deep into roleplaying, I like crafting original and layered backstories for my characters, and I like to see my character develop and evolve as a person (or as a Kindred!) throughout the campaign, whether that is mentally, physically, and/or when it comes to their abilities. I am also a very open-minded and friendly person, not to sound immodest. I am very LGBTQ+ Friendly, being a member of that community myself, and so I am the least judgmental person I know! Again, not to sound immodest! I am also very punctual, IF I am able to meet at the appointed time, then I will always be on time or early no matter what! This does hinge on the appointed time itself as I am a college student and sometimes my schedule might get in the way! But the semester is almost ending, so it won't really be a problem henceforth! The Kind of Kindred I'd Play: My favorite clans, in no particular order, are as follows: Lasombra, Nosferatu, Hecata, Tremere, Malkavian. These are the clans that I would be most interested in playing. I like how unique they all are and the fact that they each, despite having some similarities, would play completely differently. I like playing characters that are morally grey but that strive to be better in a world of darkness and inherent violence. I like to play outcasts with unique connections struggling to stay relevant and make some kind of change. I do like the "reluctant monster" trope, even if it is a bit overdone, but that would be specifically for a Nosferatu or Malkavian. As I mentioned above, I like to craft intricate and layered backstories with lots of potential for character development and change, I don't like to play stagnant characters. Depending on how the story goes, my character might become the good person they wish they were, or become worse than they ever thought was possible for them! I do also really like to play women if that is alright! What I Am Looking For: I am primarily looking for a Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle and coterie to join! I am hoping for a game with depth and lots of lore, with a Storyteller that is as serious about their Chronicle as I would be for my Kindred! This can be in-person in NYC, or online! The ONLY caveat regarding online play is that I would have to use either Demiplane or Roll20 (which supports Demiplane) since that is where I purchased the books that I have listed above (Corebook, Player's Guide, Chicago by Night)! Availability: I am not available Tuesday and Thursday nights EST as I have other games, including that paid DND campaign, at those times. Though Tuesday is bi-weekly! (Roleplay Character Development Example: I am currently playing a Dragonborn Sorcerer in my paid DND campaign who grew up in a cult that worshiped a villainous figure from history, believing them to be misunderstood or misrepresented. That group is no more and during the campaign he has come across this figure that is actually still alive, and this figure is now an antagonistic force in his life. This has rocked my Sorcerer's world, and through a small bit of divine intervention his life goal and path has evolved with the story! Multi-classing into Cleric, the lies of his youth have been laid bare before him and he has begun to move past his misconceptions and has learned to embrace a holier power. I had NO IDEA this would happen, but I guided my character through this natural evolution through the campaign!)

Hello, Im Red, but most people call me Gingy. Im looking for an awesome group that would be willing to take me under their wing and show me the ropes. Ive been interested in DND for years but have never really been around people that play. Well Im tired of waiting for a group around me and Im out to find one. Im 24, Live in Central USA, and have almost no clue what Im doing! I somewhat know the basics, Ive watched a fair amount of "Beginners" videos. I used to roleplay tons when I was younger, and love a good story. Im available Wednesdays during the day until about 6:30pm CST, Saturday after 5:30pm CST into Sunday ending at 4:30pm CST (I work two jobs) so Saturday nights are the best bet! Most of my RPG builds consist of a mix of healing and defense. Im always a team player, and want everyone to succeed.

I am a guy from the Central South of the United States who is looking for Primarily a Pathfinder 1e game on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings and isn't afraid of using non-srd material. That said, I'd also be interested in 5e, Shadowrun 4e, Wrath and Glory, and other similar systems. I mostly play Paladins, Clerics, Barbarians, and Warlocks in the games I play, and more recently I wanted to switch things up when it comes to pathfinder, since I'm not used to spellcasting in the game and I wanted to ease into it with a Warpriest or even go full War Wizard. That said, I do want to try out an archer build someday aswell. For my playstyle, I generally adapt to the game itself, although I like a balance of combat/crunch and roleplay. My method for learning games is to create a character concept, to then build a backstory, finish the build guide for myself, and finally to then flesh out the backstory for the character, trying to be as lore accurate as I can be with the information I can find. I do work a day job, and I play music on the side, so while I would love to accept every game invite, I simply cannot join every table. I am not the type to ghost or lose interest, and tend to get extremely emotionally invested in settings that I'm involved in. * **Awesome note-taker:** I will usually do notes in character and have no problem sharing them with the group. I prefer to take my notes in a notebook and not online since it feels more *roleplayie!* I am just a terrible speller, so beware. * **Great attention span:** I have a really good focus when I'm at the table because I love playing and rarely find it boring. I don't like to get on my phone or do other stuff, and I find it frustrating if players aren't engaged with other players' stories. * **Flavor:** I will flavor everything and anything that you let me. Spells are my favorite thing to flavor, crafting verbal phrases to speak, hand gestures, and mixing material components in. Attacks and how they look, along with whether they hit or not, and the outcome of said attack. Even attacks that fail to hit me, I like to flavor how they missed if the DM doesn't. Regardless, I like to roleplay the mechanics of this game to better help the story, and it also keeps me engaged. Weakness- yes, unfortunately, I'm not perfect, and I think it's important to share weaknesses that you know you have. * **Humor:** Cursed with great notetaking and attention span, I have been crafted with a very small funny bone. Doesn't mean I won't laugh or anything, but I just tend to have a more serious demeanor, so don't turn to me for cracking jokes. It is my burden to bear =(. * **Voices:** I can't do voices; I'll try, but I won't succeed. Hello! I am a decently experienced DND player who has also played some pathfinder 1e and done some learning on pathfinder 2e. I am 20, queer, and an enthusiastic player who has never missed a session in over 100!! I love playing creatively and getting really into the character and story being told. When playing dnd 5e I prefer to play laserllamas alternate classes (especially in 2014) but it's not a dealbreaker at all if I can't!
