Hey I'm Zaron a 30m who has played D&D a bit in the past but nothing too substantial sadly and want to get back to it. Currently with my work schedule I can only guarantee availability on sundays at the moment. I'm US EST (GMT-5) and available pretty much anytime from about 7am to 11pm my time. I love dming and also being a player and I'm open to either. I also really love the idea of alternating either every other week, maybe once a month doing the other, etc as I did this when I first tried D&D and loved it. I like a mix of rp and combat ideally around a 60/40 split. I would like to have a setting that can be serious and have some amazing stories but also have some fun lighthearted times mixed in too. I do have a couple characters planned based on the setting of the campaign and the rest of the group and as far as being a DM I have some rough ideas I've been working on but would flesh out more to fit the characters and players. I'd prefer 5e as that's what I'm familiar with although could be open to other systems. The main thing I'm hoping for is ultimately people that can be fun to hang out with and have a good time, but can also be adults about making sure to be on time or communicate ahead of time if stuff comes up as my last group was often very unreliable in this department. Obviously things come up and sometimes it's last minute so I get that, but it shouldn't be an all the time thing.
