Hello! I'm trying to get into DnD as a completely new player and I've never played it before. I've watched multiple campaignes on YouTube and ever since been wanting to play my own long, homebrew session of one. I've seen that as long as the DM is chill and willing to work with their players they'd allow you to use subclasses that aren't typically in DnD as a option to pick so I really wanna be a Entomancer. It's currently the only class I've thought of playing and the only one I have ideas for, I believe the main class for Entomancer would be a Druid so I'd be willing to fill in and be either a healing type druid or a damage type as those are the only things I've really looked into to make my class all the more real feeling. I've played some BG3 and Divinity 2 so I have a understanding of how to play a turn based game that has limited uses on certain spells and so forth. On the contrary, I've never actually played the tabletop or online version of DnD so I'd be completely in the dark for a majority of how it works.
