Hi! Me (F27) and my partner (31M) are looking to join a weekly online D&D game on Fridays or Sundays. We're hoping to have a lot of fun while telling fun stories together with others and hopefully make some new friends along the way. We are very punctual and rarely if ever miss sessions and never without notice. We are both gamers as well and are here looking for friends and not just a game to play. I have about 3 years experience in D&D 5E 2024/2014. I enjoy roleplaying, character creation and storytelling, I have a background in creative writing. I have some difficulties with math and combat due to my dyslexia and dyscalculia but I do my best, even if I get stressed and confused sometimes. it would be ideal for there to be a map during combat (even if its just a grid with nothing on it). My partner has more experience playing D&D 5E 2024/2014 around 10 years at this point and enjoys building characters and playing combat, roleplaying and creative problem solving. They have experience as a dm for basically as long as he's been playing and is generally really helpful to have around at the table. In short what we’re looking for: Day: Fridays, 4pm CST (at the earliest) or Sunday ending before 5pm CST Time zone: GMT+1/CST (open to other time zones as long as the schedule works, finishing by about 10pm) Players: mid twenties and older preferred and LGBTQA+ Friendly. System: D&D 5e 2024 preferred, but also happy to play 2014. Frequency: Weekly, for roughly 3 or 4 hours. Tools: Prefer D&D Beyond for character sheets (we have a bunch of content to share). Any VTT works — just not really looking for theater of the mind or text-based play
