Hi all, I'm Bill! I'm a new player looking to join a campaign and get into roleplaying. I’m an easy going guy who loves anything fantasy, as well as reading, hiking, running, and writing. I've been reading about DnD lore for the past five years now and I think the worldbuilding is rich and immersive. After learning about Groupfinder, I realize that I can actually learn more about the mechanics of the world and roleplaying. I'm most excited to meet other people who are just as nerdy as I am and also are invested in worldbuiling and fantasy.  I'm open to any sort of setting, though I am most familiar with DnD 5th edition (either 2014 or 2024 versions) and would like to join a campaign with those mechanics. I'd say I'm a beginner, though I was part of a brief campaign five years ago. I'd still say I'm new to the scene, but I'm excited to learn more and meet other people who are into DnD.  In terms of playstyle, I’m very story-driven and love a good narrative with character development. I like a good mix of roleplay and combat, and I’m especially drawn to games where there's no right choices. That being said, I love a good bit, and I'm open to anything so long as its both immersive an fun.  I'm looking for a group that’s open to newer players. Ideally a group that communicates well and is patient while I get fully up to speed. I don't have any preffered classes yet, so I'm flexible and open to learn new mechanics.  My availability is: - Weekdays after 6:30 PM (except Thursdays) - Sundays after 5 PM Dealbreakers: I think jumpscares are cheap.
