I am a 31 yr old woman and play DND 5e but I am willing to expand my horizons.  I can play online or locally near Sherwood, OR (Portland).  While I am not ready to DM I can host for any in person games.  Characters in my idea drawer includes - A lawful good automaton with a group dad personality. A lawfulevil fake cleric (warlock) whose patron God is herself from another timeline.  She can work with good campaigns as I will align her interests with the others, she's just passive aggressive  A kenku bard where I will save all the things the group says so I can quote them later.
