system: Gurps 4e+a homebrew ship to ship combat system how will we play: mainly through discord with dice bots and GCS for character tracking the combat system doesn’t really need tokens and a battle map to function but I will probably throw together a owlbear ship combat map just for ease but ground combat will be all theatre of the mind and more cinematic if it ever comes up Time and day: Sundays at 1pmEST ending at 5pmEST Whom should apply: people that know how to use gcs well enough to add all the homebrew items im making for the game into their character sheets not to mention homebrew races aswell Era/Universe: a alternate universe trek where the ferengi are hyper socialist and federation is known as the Democratic Republic Union of Stars(DRUS) and is not a utopian hyper socialist faction but more like the modern US economy is on paper with a large military and want for resources and land that necessitates wars or proxy wars with other factions such as the Klingon Republic, the Romulan-Reman-Garizian Alliance, the Holy Cardassian Empire, the Breen Confederation, Kzinti Matriarchy, The First Union, Alliance of Independent systems, Tholian Piety, and so on I’ll prolly make a map in paint of all the factions in the alpha and beta octants but that’s not where this takes place entirely The story: you’re a crew aboard a DRUS Exploratative warship first of her class with a brand new transwarp drive capable of reaching places in hours that took days and days that took weeks the first test involves a precision strike against a Holy Cardassian Empire star base should be easy enough minimal protection is there but once it’s been disabled or destroyed you gun it to the next objective, but rumors are floating around of a test of a device that could with the transwarp drive make you reach past your enemies and allies to places untouched like the gamma, delta, omega quads this game is supposed to be reminiscent of the AU in Strange new worlds with the AU Kirk Addendum:ive decided why do all that work for the personnel side when prime directive exists lol so i will be using prime directive for most of the equipment besides adding some things here and there aswell as adding some new species for this AU but we'd be using the revised edition corebook for species that already exist and personal equipment but space combat is basically non-existent in prime directive so that all will still be homebrew, oh and we're using roll20 now 😄

I’m looking for one or two players for an in person GURPS 4e campaign set in Verdune, a plant-punk space opera where biotech replaced machinery, psychic powers replaced computers, and the galaxy is full of alien politics, living weapons, warped hyperspace, and things that should have stayed lost. What the setting is Biotech ships, psychic communication, living gear Space opera with weird aliens, piracy, war, diplomacy, salvage, and lovecraft at the edges Humanity is new to the galactic stage after surviving a devastating alien invasion Multiple playable species, each with strong lore, real social friction, and different mechanical identity Tone sits somewhere between space adventure, political drama, and cosmic danger What kind of game this is This is a roleplay-heavy, setting-rich GURPS campaign with room for investigation, negotiation, exploration, survival, and combat. Violence is always a choice, but only one of several. This is not just a dungeon crawl in space. The setting is built to support crews, mercenaries, troubleshooters, smugglers, diplomats, scavengers, and dangerous weirdos. Players will start as prisoners during an escape. What to expect A detailed original setting Strong faction conflict Alien cultures that actually feel alien Psychic powers with real risk Living technology that can be bargained with, manipulated, or betrayed Mature themes handled with boundaries and common sense Content note Verdune includes adult themes and a harsh setting. Oppression, slavery, piracy, coercion, and brutality exist in the world. The Arctis Expedition

System: GURPS 4e Platform: Discord + Foundry (with TotM when appropriate) Timezone: EST Schedule: Weekly Sundays 11am EST Players needed: 1 Start date: Sunday January 11th 11am EST Age requirement: 18+ Premise The Kingdom of Valtara has war on the horizon. One of the princesses of an important noble family has devised a scheme to secure massive funding before the fighting begins. Long ago, an island far to the south held a great kingdom. It was flush with wealth, magic, and resources that any nation on the brink of war would kill for. That kingdom collapsed roughly 1,500 years ago and has sat in ruins ever since. The catch is that the island is a freezing nightmare, and any attempt to exploit it needs two parts: 1 - A shore fort staffed with soldiers, medical staff, and a knight overseeing the operation. The fort stores tools, food, and weapons, and it receives shipments from the mainland. 2 - A smaller, independent field team meant to push inland through snow and ruin, locate points of interest, extract valuables, and deal with whatever still lives there. You are that second group. The princess has recruited a small, competent party to trek the frozen interior and bring back the wealth needed to fund the coming war. Game Focus This game heavily focuses on survival, and resource tracking will be vital. Expect: Planning expeditions (loadouts, rations, tools, fuel, medical supplies) Traveling through deep snow and harsh cold Bad weather (whiteouts, storms) impacting navigation and safety Encounters with snowy creatures and other inhabitants The pressure of making sure each expedition brings enough food to stay well fed—and enough margin to get back Game Tone and Vibe Gritty exploration and logistics Risk is real, and smart play is rewarded Mission loop: prep at fort → expedition inland → return with loot/info → next push Character creation (details finalized after group forms) GURPS 4e. I’ll help with char-gen and can provide advice and recommendations. Expect “competent expedition members,” not joke builds. Skills like Survival, Navigation, Hiking, First Aid, Observation, and relevant combat/utility skills will matter. Characters will be 150pts with -75 disadvantage limit and -5 quirk Magery Limit 3 TL3 Basic Set + Magic, plus additional books by group consensus (GM approval). I am looking for Warriors, Explorers, Survivalists and a Mage would likely be helpful, but not required.
