Salutations, Adventure seekers! I'm looking to run a weekly Saturday online campaign of "Phandelver and Below" for a group of 5 to 6 players who are just starting out with Dungeons and Dragons or who have some minimal experience with TTRPGs and want to take on a longer campaign. If you are a experienced player and interested in playing NPCs, some listings will appear at a later date, but you can still contant me if you are interested. Each session will run approx 2-3 hours, maybe 4, if players are up for it and have time. Some sessions may be shorter (1.5 - 2 hours)  IMPORTANT!! Before reading on, be sure that these session starting times are suitable for you.  Sessions will be held starting from the time that is listed. TIMEZONES (all same time slot/starting time, depending on your region): GMT starting at 2:00 pm CET starting at 4:00 pm EST  starting at 10:00 am CST starting at 9:00 am The meat on the bones: Game will be held in English. Spoken and written english on an easily understandable level is a requirement. There will be a grammar test for the barbarians. Voice-chat will be through discord. VTT: Owlbear Starting lvl: 1 Ending level: 4 if you do not want to play past the first 4 chapters, otherwise ~12 XP gain: both milestone and traditional, bonus individual XP for good roleplaying. Books and references: All 5.5e core books + 5ed and 5.5ed major supplementary books (don't worry about it, if you don't know what those are) What the campaign is (publishers text, somewhat edited): "Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk" is a comprehensive Dungeons & Dragons campaign designed to take players from the very beginning of their journey at level 1 all the way to level 12. It serves as an expanded, modernized version of the original beloved starter adventure "Lost Mine of Phandelver", making it arguably the most beginner-friendly entry point into the hobby. The story begins as the players travel to the frontier town of Phandalin to assist a dwarf patron and unfurl from there. The campaign itself is set within the Forgotten Realms, the flagship and most popular world for Dungeons & Dragons that first made it's debut in 1987, often likened to a high-fantasy "everything plus the kitchen sink" setting because it accommodates almost any story type. The journey specifically unfolds on the continent of Faerûn, a vast land modeled loosely after medieval Europe, but infused with ubiquitous magic, active deities, and a rich tapestry of diverse cultures. The significance of this setting lies in its role as the "default" universe for modern D&D; it provides a shared cultural touchstone for millions of players and serves as the backdrop for iconic media like Baldur's Gate 3 and the movie Honor Among Thieves. Over the span of its lifetime approx. 300 novels, novellas, and short story anthologies have been publiches to draw inspiration from and to breathe life into the setting.
