I've played D&D constantly for about 7 (almost 8) years, and I've made it the only thing I really do outside of school and work and such. I really enjoy D&D, not particularly because of the combat or roleplay, but more so because of the pure creativity and lore in campaigns. It sparks my mind in ways I can't usually which is one of the reasons for me enjoying it so much. I do still enjoy combat and roleplay a lot though, but I might struggle to get into my characters voice sometimes. In terms of what I like to play, I dabble in a little bit of everything. I've played all the way from homebrew campaigns, to roleplay campaigns, to official campaigns, all the way to oneshots. I've played every genre immaginable ranging from high-fantasy, low-fantasy, sci-fi, historical, modern, horror, and puzzle.

Hey! It's been a long time since I've played D&D and I'm looking to get back into it with a group who is laid back and doesn't mind someone with a partial grasp of the (5e) ruleset. I'm interested in a longer campaign, starting at or close to level 1, to be able to grow through. I'm looking to find some great world building set in more of the medieval/high fantasy setting, though am not opposed to other aspects being interwoven. I just love swords, shields, magic, and monsters. I have a character that I'm really looking to have come to live at a virtual table, though I'm not opposed to modifying that if it were needed. Unfortunately, I have limited availability due to work, family, and other responsibilities/activities, but am looking to commit to weekly/bi-weekly games or whatever else might work. Hopefully with individuals who are understanding and accepting of aforementioned responsibilities. My ideal time to play would be Wednesdays when I finish work around 8:30pm (EST) or later. I might be able to make other times work, but as already stated, my availability at this moment is kind of limited. Some info about me: I'm 41, male, married, and have a daughter. hi! a bit about myself first and foremost I'm an experienced player and I'm easy to get along with. I know how bad players bring the vibe down and I know how not to be one bc I'm empathetic and a good communicator a quick story from another campaign of mine: I was playing a light cleric alongside a half-vampire, who had... urges. I used the continual flame spell to create a flame for him that would not be extinguished by non-magical means. I told him the flame was like the goodness inside of him - always there even if it was covered or couldn't be seen. it was a watershed moment. Ideally, I'm looking for a campaign in which we play several published ones like lost mines, but keep the group continuity between each adventure. I want a group that can be decisive in making group decisions. a lot of parties tend to overthink things and it bogs down the pacing. my only pet peeve really. my characters are almost always intensely curious. they talk too much even if it gets them into trouble. they're kind-hearted and overly trusting. they value being well-rounded rather than specializing, which means they tend to have multiple proficiences. They come from healthy families with supportive parents. additionally, I love characters who worship gods of wisdom and knowledge, so I'd be interested in how they fit in to your lore. I am also happy to have abilities that are (at first) unexplained, and give you the gm freedom to establish how I get them and how they fit in to the world I love most the interplay between combat, exploration, and rp. I like to have each one enhance the others, rather than picking a favorite. Even if you choose to pass on me, you deserve nice things!

I've been rolling dice since the days of Neverwinter Nights persistent worlds, where the game was mostly text-based and the roleplay was the whole point. From there I found my way into 3.5, Pathfinder, and eventually 5e, where I've run several year-long campaigns to completion as DM. These days I'm looking to get back on the player side of the screen and explore some new systems. I'm a roleplay centric player but I love a good tractical combat, especially if the system supports cinematic moments within it. I also like to keep the game moving forward, making sure to involve the party in making decisions and keeping the pace of the story going, this means I usually fall into the role of party face too. I've played in a handful of games using the 2014 rules but I find 2024's changes in the lore, classes (mainly monk), and rules super interesting and I've been itching to try them out! Hey my names Bagel, although you probably already read that. I'm a beginner in D&D and want to play it more. I've only played a one-shot and a short-term campaign.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that aren't all about fart jokes.. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Experience: I haven't played for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I'd also be interested in playing Starfinder 2e as a completely new player. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. Pet Peeve: Listening to people talk about something that happened in some other game. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. If we're a good fit, I'll stick around for multiple campaigns. I'm in this for the long haul. Hope to see you online!

I'm an experienced yet rusty D&D player that has been on both sides of the DM screen. I'm looking to join a group as a player right now, with a campaign (or one shot, I'm not picky) that has a nice balance of combat and RP. I'd say I might lean a little bit more on the RP side of things but I greatly enjoy both. I'm a bit older (40's) so I wouldn't mind playing with a generationally diverse group where at least one other person has complained about knee pain before. I'm kind of happy to plop myself down anywhere that is willing to have me though! I am a lifelong artist that formerly worked as a professional illustrator. I love group story telling and creating fun and exciting narratives alongside new friends. One thing that might make it a little harder for me to find the right fit is that I feel like I would love to find a weekday group that plays during the afternoon. I understand this might mean I'm more likely to end up at a virtual table full of people outside of my country, as most people don't maintain the odd schedule I do that allows for gaming during that window.

Hello I'm a man I am 19 I have never played a proper game of dnd before and am looking to join a game to learn and just have fun

Hello! I'm Dragon, an early 20s gamer looking for a campaign to join. I've played for a total of about 1 1/2 years, with 2 oneshots, a short campaign, and am playing a long-term campaign that's recently passed its 1 year anniversary, which has gone from level 1 to currently level 11 and I've loved every minute of it. I have played in Roll20 with voice chat being on Discord and sheets on DnDBeyond or occasionally Roll20. I've also had a little bit of Foundry experience from a Cyberpunk Red campaign that didn't last very long. I'm looking for a group to play a long-term homebrew-friendly game with a healthy amount of roleplay, isn't low-magic, and isn't an aimless sandbox. I've not had the chance to be in a campaign that provides individual character arcs, however I'm very interested in finding that unicorn and giving it a try! I'd love to be immersed in the story and my character. Let me know how homebrew you'll let characters be. I have ideas ranging from simple rogues to Echo Knights to a lich class. I'm available 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm CST every day except Monday and Friday. I'd prefer weekly games but would be fine with biweekly. I'm excited to play!

You can call me Hibi♥︎ I'm a total newbie (never played yet TvT) I'm a 16 year old girl, but I can handle serious topics and stuff ^^ My time zone is UTC +2 I would want to play anything that is a support! (But besides that I am very flexible) I'm okay with both roleplay focused and fight focused, although I think I would prefer roleplay (because I don't have much opinion about them for now) I made a design of a character already that I will probably use (a female tiefling) but if we talk about class, or backstory I can change if needed! For now I wanted to try one shots but slightly longer games could be okay too (sorry) . Some of my flaws: I will say that I am a little bit shy, and I am physical unable to talk over people, (and also it's hard for me to find a good moment to be able to say something) And as for last I do apologize a lot but I do try my best to not apologize too much . Hello, im new to table top games for the most part. I have tried DM'ing DnD twice for both groups to dwindle out. It was based on Dragon of Icespire peak. I have some physical books so some light knowledge. Looking for DnD, 2014/2024 and willing to learn. I would like to play as a player and learn lots, i have a rough idea for a character id like to develop and see how a DM could shape them. I think a healthy mix of RP and Combat is a ideal start for me. Im based in Australia and generally available after 3-4pm AEST.

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled. I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.
