Hihi!! You can call me Flare!  I'm posting on behalf of myself and my partner, we are currently searching for a long term table to play at and get to know some people! Summary: - 10+ years and 35,000+ hours combined total experience with TTRPGs - Very into the roleplay aspect of getting into character and fitting ourselves into a world - Enjoy a respectful table where players each are able to have their own moment without others stealing the spotlight - Always excited to build a backstory and interesting, unique characters! - Appreciate some creative liberty in character creation and storytelling We both have a lot of experience with TTRPGs, with myself having 3ish years total experience and my partner having around 10 (and 30,000 hours on roll20), both of us have played in and DMed a number of games across various systems so we definitely have experience :3 We enjoy story-focused, roleplay heavy campaigns and both really enjoy getting into character and weaving ourselves into the story. Something we try to prioritize is allowing everyone else to have their moments in the story, and we expect the same from them. A big part of what we enjoy with TTRPGs is really experiencing the world around us! In terms of a DM, we hope to find someone who can enjoy the story as much as we do, and allow for some creativity during character creation and storytelling for a better overall experience!

I'm on Discord, I'll play any genre, I'm fine with any style, I prefer a group with less than 5, I'll create a character for the campaign, I don't mind the length of the campaign, I've been looking too long to restrict myself on what I can find

Greetings, I am looking to hopefully scratch my ttrpg itch and enjoy some good storytelling and roleplay with other people. I am familiar with a variety of game systems and am happy to learn new ones; I just ask you be patient while learning the game. My biggest area of expertise is D&D but I have played Pathfinder 1e for a few years; though I still feel a bit like a newbie when it comes to the game itself. I have a few character concepts and am usually available in the evenings; I also love to create characters with good motivations and even plot hooks if they are wanted/needed. I hope to find some amazing games with some equally amazing people. (PS, I tend to play as a mage of some form.)

Matthew
Hello, thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Matthew, but I often go by Matt or my online username on any given platform. I've been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years now, starting with an incredibly fast-and-loose version of DnD 3.5 in highschool, but I became more familiar with systems when I got in to 5e in ~2016. As a player, I enjoy playing mostly with the combat systems in games, but lately I have been exploring more with roleplaying more often. Exploration feels a bit difficult to me sometimes in games, but I don't dislike it, I just struggle a bit when I can't make informed decisions. As for the games I am interested in, the order of interest are in this order: 1. LANCER 2. PF2E 3. Fabula Ultima 4. DnD 2014/24

ART!
Looking to build or join a local(ish?), face-to-face, progressive-minded group. Not interested in rules lawyering or "winning", just having fun learning, socializing, roleplaying, solving mysteries, slaying foes, and the like. For several years I've played mostly D&D 5E, but I've played dozens or maybe even hundreds of game systems, so I'm open to whatever. I'm a fan of fantasy, sci-fi, super-heroes, comics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who.

Viv
Hello! My name is Viv, and I'm a new player to DnD. I've played once or twice and I'm looking for the next adventure! I prefer role play/story heavy games but combat is also fun for me, I live in the US and would be okay with an in-person campaign if we're close enough but I prefer online as it's easier. I love seeing the kind of worlds people can come up with and hope to DM my own campaign one day!

I am a dad (38) with a full time job so once I get a schedule locked in I'll be kinda stuck to it. Probably BiWeekly 7PM Central Time. Haven't played in over a decade and I want to be a player for a while before getting in to GMing. I enjoy learning how the rules and tools work together to create opportunities, surprises, disappointment and rewards but now I want more experience and less reading. I'd consider my interests right in the middle of roleplay and crunch. I think silly voices can be fun and applaud anyone going full character embodiment (respectfully) with goals for development. Rules are there for structure and challenge and should be the driving guide but I have no interest in strict RAW (or in a related vein 1:1 time inspired games).

Gaming experience: Started in 1992 with Battletech and BECMI Dungeons and Dragons, but I've played a little bit of everything from Roll for Shoes and Knave to Shadowrun and Riddle of Steel. I heavily prefer simulationist styles of games, but I'm flexible depending on the adventure concept.  My favorite games are Lancer, Shadowrun, 7th Sea 1e, and Tenra Bansho Zero. I'm homebrew friendly and enjoy playtesting new games.  Currently I am only playing online, and my availability is mostly limited to weekday evenings.  I will not join a group that makes use of 'AI' generated artwork or media of any kind.

Jared
My name is Jared [He/Him/HIs], and I'm a Queer POC TTRPG player who's been in the space for over ten years. (Getting all of the potentially controversial things out of the way from the start, so there are no surprises lol.) As a player to the GM: I try to keep my investment to games as the same level as the GM invests within the game. I tend to match energy with whatever the GM establishes they are excited about. For a game with a GM who has spent extensive time and effort on exploration, I will naturally create a character that has good survival and perception so they can show what they've prepared. For a game with a GM that has created complex lore, I'll build a character with good history and int skills to make sure I can pick up on it. For a game with a GM who focuses on tactical combat, I'll build a character with resilience and a good balance of short-term and long-term abilities to withstand days full of violence. Either way, I try to clock what aspects the GM is most excited about working with for the campaign and work to find a way to help make those aspects shine. As a player in a party: I tend to be a good 'fill' player when it comes to new tables. Until I'm familiar with a group, I tend to take on mechanical and social roles within a group that allow everyone to get along and get to know each other. I'll try to drum up conversations to gauge where everyone is with character creation, interact with quiet characters during the game if it seems they haven't been quite as involved, and build characters with supporting roles and abilities to help keep characters alive, so fellow players can tell the stories they work hard on coming up with. As I get more comfortable, I generally fall back and find the best ways to cultivate good energy and fun within the game and try to be the oil that makes the machine run just a bit smoother.   As a player of system: I tend to enjoy the mechanics of the system just as much as I enjoy embodying the character I am playing. The 'PG' in TTRPG is just as important as the 'R' is for me, and oftentimes it means that I create characters that utilize the 'Rules as Written' just as often as they utilize the 'Rule of Cool'. If I play within your game, expect my character design choices to be just as nuanced as my roleplay choices. I tend to build my characters with flaws, motivations, and reasoning to aspire to the heights of what is possible within a given world and setting, but I also build them with a desire to live and will often mechanically pick choices that allow them to survive to ensure they can accomplish said goals. While it is admittedly a form of powergaming, I often use it to support the party, often defaulting to creating characters that fulfil the 'support' or 'frontline' roles instead of flashier roles like 'DPS' and 'Face' as they don't suit how my comforts.

My name's William, I'm 25 and have been playing TTRPGs for almost 9 years now. I usually prefer online games since they're easier to join. My favourite kind of games are those that while they may include combat focus mostly on roleplaying. My schedule is Monday and Thursday at any hour, and Friday to Sunday until 9:30 pm

I'm hoping to find a group to join, or a GM and several others for a game, weekly or bi-weekly. Here's some info: Time: 8pm GMT+1/CET Possible days weekly: Wednesday or Thursday Possible days bi-weekly: Friday, Saturday, Sunday* (*will be able to do weekly Sundays starting next year) System: I'm fairly open due to my tight schedule but I'm primarily looking to join a group for some Mecha TTRPG. I own a number I have either rarely or never played but would really like to play, namely Aether Nexus, Armour Astir, Lancer, and Mechwarrior Destiny (huge BT fan). I'd be interested in other systems like Mecha Hack or Beamsaber, but I don't yet own those rulebooks or have read the rules. Obviously I would get the rules and read them to join a group. Other than that I'd also be very interested in playing Fabula Ultima again (played around 10 sessions), Sword World 2.5 (played once and a bit solo) or the Cowboy Bebop TTRPG (only GMed once). I've been a roleplayer in different forms (TTRPG, Forums, MMOs...) for about 25 years now, so have plenty of experience and prefer roleplaying, storytelling and serious worldbuilding over beer and pretzel and meme play. As a player, I always try to create characters that fit the setting and provide the GM with hooks from my characters' padt to use for the game. I wouldn't be averse to taking up the GM mantle down the road, or playing GMless altogether as well (I have plenty experience with that), I'm just having my hands full with two games I'm running. Also, English is my second language, so I'm talking with an accent, but own a proper mic.
