I'm new-ish to dnd 5e and 5.5e. I have played a few sessions but never found a group worth staying with. DM EXPERIENCE: Recently my children watched Stranger Things and wanted to play dnd. So I bought a starter adventure and we are learning how to play together. I DM for my family but will not DM for strangers as I feel I'm not qualified. PLAYER EXPERIENCE: I love warlock and will always roll a warlock when available. I won't ever make a melee character but will multiclass for the build if it requires or seems fun but I'm a magic user through and through. I LOVE healing in video games but dnd is not a video game and does not adhere to the rules of healing that I'm used to. I tried cleric as my first ever character and realized that healing wasn't the same. After that I made a warlock and felt the call. Hex and eldritch blast ftw. Never played past level 4 unfortunately.
