I got into the hobby about ten years ago as a way to release some creative energy while studying. I found myself immediately as my friends' forever DM and have not looked back since ! I have taught the majority of my players how to play D&D and have always had good experiences with new players. Most of my experience comes from D&D 5E, but I have been slowly getting into Daggerheart lately. First and foremost, I DM by the rule of cool. Everyone is here to have a good time, and I try to enable this whenever possible. Besides that, my DM style revolves (especially for campaigns) heavily around involving the player characters in the story. I try to find balanced games where exploration, combat, and social interactions naturally intertwine. But I have to say, my favorite thing about TTRPGs is just seeing where the group's creativity will take the story, and letting the chaos unfold. Although this approach may have led to premature ends of prepared plot threads from time to time...
