Hey all, I'm Blade (21M) and I am currently looking for a table to join that has a good mix of roleplay, character and party development, exploration and combat. I have been playing DnD for about 3 years now but have been watching and interested in DnD for around 6 years. * I really enjoy finding out how my character can mesh well with the rest of the party and become a proper unit. * I would prefer a homebrew campaign as I feel it allows better story beats for individuals and the party as a whole * I use Discord and am familiar with Roll20 and to a smaller extent Foundry, but I am open to learning new VTTs * I would prefer to play with people over 18 who are mature and reasonable, as I don't want to have to censor my self * I don't want to be around racists, sexists or queerphobes, or people who put their politics or religion onto others. We are each individual people and can live or believe what we want (ya know, as long as it aint some illegal or universally morally wrong stuff) * I would prefer to play a martial class but will fill any role the group needs at the time. My favorite classes are barbarian and monk * I enjoy all aspects of TTRPG but find the most joy in making solid friends at the table, ones that I aint just going to play DnD with. * In the games I have found myself often waiting a few moments after the DM has finished narrating something to give the other players an opportunity to speak up, but more often then not after those few moments I am the first to talk. I don't mind being the party face (despite often playing characters with mid to low charisma) but I also want to give every player their chance at having a say in the story. If someone needs to take charge I am happy to do so but will try to pull the rest of the party into conversations as well so I'm not the only one talking * I would prefer to not be playing in a hardcore setting. I fully understand that a chain of bad decisions should lead to death, but I also don't want it to be round the next corner randomly. It's hard to build a solid character story if they are dropping like flies. * I do like watching the rest of the party get involved in wild and crazy plans and will often go along with them, but often won't offer up those types of plans myself. For my availability I know that AEST is a bit of a weirder time zone but I generally work evenings so I am able to attend American evening games as they are in the morning for me * Sunday: 8:00 - 2:00PM * Monday: Fully available * Tuesday: 8:00 - 2:00PM * Wednesday: Unavailable * Thursday: Fully available * Friday: 8:00 - 2:00PM *Saturday: 8:00 - 2:00PM Friday to Sunday may also be subject to changed based on my work schedule but will be upfront and open about any issues with that when they are known to me.
