Hello! I’m Greg (23M) (he/him and/or they/them), a returning D&D 5e (2014) player looking for a long-term campaign and group (GM + players). I’m especially interested in horror/mystery tones and story-driven play, while still enjoying meaningful combat and exploration. What I’m looking for Campaign: Long-term/ongoing. Tone: Horror/mystery themes (open to any fantasy setting); serious overall with room for occasional chaos and humor. Play-style: RP-forward; happy with a balanced mix of RP/combat/exploration. Availability (UTC-05/Eastern Time) I’m generally available Tue / Thu / Fri / Sat / Sun, 5:30 PM – 11:00 PM ET. Frequency: Weekly or biweekly preferred. Session length: Prefer 3-4 hours. Flexible within my availability window. System/Rules Preferred: D&D 5e (2014). Open to: Learning 5e (2024). Platform Online: Discord voice (video preferred if the table allows). VTT: No preference; I’m newer to VTTs and happy to learn. Maps preferred over theater-of-the-mind. Also open to in-person: Cambridge/Boston, MA (if schedules fit and it’s a good table match). Must be within public transport (30-45mins max commute preferred). About me/table fit I love campaigns with deep lore and PCs that feel integrated into the setting. I’m collaboration-first, and I enjoy working with the DM and party to make characters and story beats that actually matter. What I bring Teamwork-first, collaborative playstyle. Appreciation for world-building and thoughtful homebrew. Humor (occasional sarcasm, bad jokes, and obscure references). Snacks for all (in-person) or music recs (online). Preferences/boundaries I value collaborative DMs who communicate and incorporate player input to build a fun, respectful table environment and campaign. Inclusive table expected (LGBTQIA+ and disability-friendly; respectful accommodations). Happy to elaborate further. No bigotry; no harassment. Prefer no extensive PvP/betrayal. Open to player-player and player-NPC romance but no ERP. Character interests/flexibility Prior experience with frontline/face archetypes (e.g., Paladin). Interested in trying an illusion-focused support caster or Hexblade-style Warlock. Flexible and willing to fit party needs/campaign tone. Contact Discord preferred: grogorovitch Reddit DMs/chat also welcome. If you reach out, I'd appreciate a quick pitch (setting/tone), the schedule, and any major house rules or table expectations. Most of these points aren't major deal breakers so please do reach out.American Boy
