I'm a 23-year-old player looking for an online D&D group to join for a proper campaign. I have been searching on and off for a while, but have had no luck in finding a group. I’m looking for free games. I'm open to any kind of campaign—combat-focused, heavy roleplay, exploration. I genuinely don’t mind and good with anything. One thing that’s really important to me is having a session 0. I want that time to be used for working with the DM and other players to make characters together, discuss expectations, and ensure everyone’s on the same page. It makes a big difference, especially for someone like me who’s committed to playing but sometimes struggles socially (I’m on the autism spectrum, just as a heads-up). As a player, the thing that I like the most in a campaign is the story. Because of this, if the game starts to stall for too long, like when planning between players is taking too long for example, I sometimes take action to make the plot move forward.
