Hello! You can call me Fume, or Angelo, whichever is easier for you. I'm just a chill dude that loves to roleplay and tell fun and enjoyable stories alongside other cool people. D&D is my favorite hobby and I absolutely love getting invested into people's lore and either making characters that feel like they are actually part of the world building or, when DMing, making a story that really revolves around the PC's and feels like their choices really matter, because they do! In terms of preferences, I'm about 60-40 split in for roleplay-combat respectively, but just about any ration that isn't too unbalanced is something I can sink my teeth into. I love collaborating with others on stories or backgrounds if there's mutual interest present. I fully understand that Death is, more often than not, part of the game, and while it's a bit of a bummer to lose a character, it's part of the experience. I'm open to dark and mature themes, as it's part of storytelling, so long as nothing crosses any boundaries of the players and excessive detail isn't used. There's a difference between elluding to the horrific crimes of a faction to set the tone and story, and reading a gore fic to shock your players, yk? I'm also strongly in favor of clear communication between fellow players and DM's, especially for the grounds of comfort zones and such. And I strongly request that if I ever do something that bothers someone or makes them feel uncomfortable to PLEASE reach out to me and let me know! I want everyone to be having an enjoyable time (DM included), so please let me know if there's anything that rubs you the wrong way. In terms of what I'm currently looking for, a buddy and I are hoping to join a 5e game that plays any day Sun-Thur, preferrably after 8pm CST if possible, as I don't get off work till about 7, and it's roughly a half hour drive home. We'd also prefer not to play with Minors, as we are both adults and its just easier to not have to censor yourself. Seeking adventurers to join a campaign beginning at level 1 in the Forgotten Realms setting. It will begin with a module called Tomb of Annihilation, which should take the party from level one to level 11 or more. At that point we can begin a new campaign with your level 11 characters if we want. But that will be a long time from now. Maybe a year. The game might be slow at first as I figure things out. And I intend for it to be a survival challenge. Variant encumbrance will be tracked. Exhaustion level and daily weather will be tracked. You will be toiling in the jungles of Chult in the year of 1490 DR.  The game will be "theater of the mind" style, relying on spoken descriptions rather than visuals. I may end up using a shared website to show battle layouts. But I haven't decided yet. Character creation rules are PHB+1.

Hello, I'm Danko, a 21 years old guy from the country of Czech Republic! After a long time of playing homebrew worlds only, I'd like to finally experience the official D&D settings as well! Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with homebrew settings, it's what D&D has been made for after all, but the official ones are SO interesting. I have used the official D&D Discord but failed as I received no offers, so I'm trying my luck here as recommended by a user on the r/lfg Reddit. The official D&D settings I'd like to play are: Curse of Strahd, Spelljammer, Eberron, Mythic Odysseys of Theros, Strixhaven, Ebon Tides, Grim Hollow, The Crooked Moon, and Lord of the Rings Roleplaying However, I'd like to try out some other TTRPGs as well, especially Pathfinder and Starfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, and Mutants & Masterminds. My gameplay and group preferences: - Players around my age rather than 30+ years olds - Discord for voice communication, any other platform for anything else (I have experience with Foundry and Owlbear) - RP focused or a good balance between RP and Combat - Good vibes, chill people - I will not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, and any form of discrimination within the group My availability: UTC+1 / CET, any days except Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays I won't play after 23:00 / 11 PM, so the sooner the sessions start the better

I love a high/dark fantasy game with lots of roleplay maybe some puzzles and a dash of combat! I'm really into a range of fantasy books. Hello, there! My name is Rampy (AG; any pronouns) and I'm looking to take part in a long-form campaign. Preferably on a weekly basis, but as long as we have consistent, sizable sessions, bi-weekly is fine. I have ample experience with the D&D 5e system (2014, not so much 2024) and enjoy all aspects of the game. I am new to roleplaying, but eager to grow in that area. I like to think I have a diverse playstyle, capable of filling gaps in parties in needed, but I tend to lean toward martial classes and the "jerk with a heart of gold" archetype. While I prefer D&D 5e (mostly due to familiarity), I am flexible in terms of what systems. I've also played Deathwatch, Mutants and Masterminds, Pathfinder 2e, Rogue Trader, Shadowrun. Additionally, I'm willing to try new systems or the numerous D&D 5e homebrews such as Final Fantasy XIV, Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Star Wars, etc. In the lengthy gaps between campaigns, I've spent an inordinate amount of time homebrewing and creating characters. I tend to like sprinkling a little (or sometimes a lot) of homebrew in my characters, as I feel it helps them feel more personal. This is not a requirement for me to enjoy the game, but such allowances (with DM approval, of course) are greatly appreciated. My only limitations in terms of player conduct and game content are the usual things: No bigotry, communicate when you have problems, keep in-game conflict in-game, and be tasteful when describing horrible or otherwise NSFW things.
