Description
Hello hello!
My name is John, I'm 29 years old, and have been DM'ing for a little over a decade now (10 years).
I am looking for a single player to join my newly started ongoing long-term campaign after loosing a player due to scheduling.

Technical Information.
August 31st is the starting/resuming date for the Homebrew Campaign.
The sessions will operate between Discord (for voice) and Roll20 (for sheets and maps etc).
The campaign has no level cap, with the intention to rise to 20, and the games combat to role-playing ratio being typically 40/60, but is influenced by the players choices. This ratio can shift to add exploration, but this is also subject to the players.
The game will utilise the majority of the 2024/25 editions of the Player's Handbook, Monster Manual, and Dungeon Master's Guide. This game aims to last a year long and reach 20th level. The game will begin at 3rd level.
The sessions would be bi-weekly (every two weeks) with the certainty to become weekly, occurring every Monday from 8PM BST/UK to Midnight. Reminder that the times mentioned are BST (UK). (These times and day are non-negotiable as they work around ongoing sessions, people and work.)

Disclaimers:
- It is necessary to be friendly to all races, cultures, genders etc. I am gay, and my partner will be joining the campaign as a Player. (This doesnt mean there wont be incentive humour).
- It is also required for people to not bring real world problems, politics/political views and drama to the game. D&D is an escape, let's keep it that way.
- Please note that any in-game cultural/political inspiration is pure fiction, using real world inspiration, not meant to be taken seriously or in an offensive manner.
- There can be sensitive topics and occasional light inappropration in some storylines, or woven into some characters. If there are any themes that can be triggering, or are simply a no-go then let me know and I will accommodate to that should you become a player.

World and Lore Information.
The world is Homebrew and as such contains a plethora of Homebrew content, such as NPC's, Races, Classes, Subclasses, Monsters, Magic and more. Enough to entice experienced players but not too much to confuse new players.
During Character Creation, a new Homebrew mechanics will come into play, the Origin Class . In short, the Origin Class provides that unique flavour that makes up your character, whether it's taking preexisting features from other classes, subclasses or even monsters, taking spells from a list that isnt yours, or to creating new ones entirely. This class is like a mini subclass, and increases in level based on the player characters advancement with that origin concept.
The world is split into four realms, separated by the vast expanse of space, with portals and planar traversal being the only way to go to other lands. They are typical fantasty worlds, with magic and artificing in certain places, ranging from scarce to very advanced.
Full details of the Realms and the campaign itself will be granted, provided you get to phase two of joining (phase two is not a conformation that you're in)
