[5e2014/2024][Homebrew][Online][EST][Thursday][Weekly] Friendly, open-minded Oldtimers seeking fun players for a new mysteriously modern campaign using modified 5e rules. Hello folks - We are looking for fun, laid-back, accepting, 35+ year old ttrpg players to join our group of players on Thursday nights (EST) to play in a weird, modern, role-play heavy, campaign - of my own creation. Seeking: We are looking for experienced men and women, in our age range, who are kind, clever, love to laugh, love strategy and roleplay, who are okay with adult themes, and just can't get enough gaming! We value our time and yours and will need to make sure we are a good fit before we set off on a session zero. So please send a note with any info you'd like us to know. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and our politics are not conservative, we prefer to share our time with similarly progressive folks. (You don't really need any books as reference to play, the provided guide and internet access would be enough, though a copy of the 5e PHB would be helpful). About me: I have been a player and DM for about 30 years. I bring many years as a game designer and graphic artist to my co-created stories. I like to throw on a character voice from time to time. I thrive on creating a mood. I have been playing a long time and have a deep understanding of the rules, though I can be fluid with them when needed. I am a fair and egalitarian GM who enjoys good people. I can furnish interested parties with my short, still-in-progress, rules guide so that you can get a better idea of some of the new or altered mechanics I am tinkering with. Our group plays on Roll20 and uses Discord. It would be great if folks considered being okay with streaming an edited audio version of our games, now or in the future.
