Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

Hello, I'm boby I'm 18 years old and live in Bulgaria I have played a good bit of both 5e and 5.5e and I've dmed a few one shots. I don't have much experience with any VTTs because I've mostly used discord and theater of the mind, I prefer games that have stratigic combat but I don't mind lots of roleplay, I can't do many character voices but I can try, my times one is EET but even if yours if very different my schedule is very flexable even late nights or early mornings work

Hey! I'm Wren, I'm a pretty experienced TTRPG player who unfortunately had to leave my previous games when I moved abroad for university, so I'm looking for some new ones. I'm studying Linguistics and Anthropology, I speak 7 languages (EN, NL, FR, CSB, DE, JP, LA) and I love cooking/baking, reading, hiking and playing the flute. I tend to like more social-based, political, mysterious and investigative campaigns with more of a focus on roleplay and developing interesting and interactive relationships with NPCs and PCs alike. As someone who's done theatre and improv since I was a child, I'm very comfortable inhabiting lots of different characters and archetypes and I never play just one sort of personality type. Taking centre stage and thinking on my feet come very naturally to me too, and I always make sure to keep roleplay grounded in the setting and context. I prefer to play a supporting role in terms of combat though, as I love seeing the combined actions of myself and my party members form something greater than the sum of its parts. Teamwork is really cool :D Also I'm queer, not really into labels but my pronouns are they/them.

I am looking for 5.5e (or 5 & 5.5e mix) long term campaign to join! Two players looking for a Friday Evening game! Hello everyone, a friend and I are looking to get into a 5e game, preferably one using an official (non-homebrew/non-3rd party) setting that allows use of all the official content. I have a lot of experience playing 5e, but my friend is fairly new to it and has only really played Baldur's Gate 3 (albeit quite extensively), so I really want him to experience the actual tabletop game! Since he is new we are looking for a somewhat short game to start with so that he can learn the basics and get a taste for it, if he likes it hopefully we can do something more long-term in the future. Looking to preferably play on Roll20 with discord for vc, weekly or biweekly is fine. Both of us have some character concepts in mind we would like to play, but can be flexible if needed. I'm Daniel, a 28yo dude looking to play either online or in person in the Minden, Nevada area. Can play pretty much any time on Wednesdays, preferably every other week. Looking for group and DM to play with that meets consistantly for a long term game. Experience: Been playing D&D on and off since maybe 2016, and have DM'd several games, though I'm looking to just be a player. Most of my experience is with 3.5e, though I'm farely familiar with 5e and have played a few one shots. I've also played Pathfinder 1e. Note that I haven't played anything in a few years now, so I may be a little rusty. I'm mostly looking to play D&D5e with some 2024 content, as I quite like some of the stuff they've done with the races, classes, and backgrounds. I don't know that I want to play a module. I'd rather play in a homebrew game, whether set in the Forgotten Realms or a similar setting. Class/Race Preferences: I love Warlocks and Necromancers first and foremost. Other classes I enjoy are Rogue, Paladin, and Critical Role's Blood Hunter, as well as Druids. As for races, I love Tieflings, Aasimar, Drow, but am also down to play a simple human from time to time if it fits the character I wanna make. At the moment I've got an idea for Chthonic Tiefling GOOlock that I'm itching to play. Role Play/Combat: My favorite games I've been in were pretty heavy in RP and made me feel an emotional connection to the player characters. At the same time, I do enjoy combat and enjoy the power fantasy of playing strong characters (though I'm also very into making an aesthetically/thematically pleasing character that may not be as strong as they could be). When it comes to combat, I don't like games where every combat encounter is Dark Souls the TTRPG. I don't mind a challenging encounter that makes me think tactically, or even the occasional encounter that isn't meant to be won, but when every encounter feels like the party is severely out-matched, that's when it stops being fun (I've been in one of those kinds of games). As I mentioned before, I do enjoy a good power fantasy, so balancing challenging encounters with some that are a breeze and make the players feel bad-ass, is the way to go for me. General Content: I like high and dark fantasy, horror, epic stories, emotional connections between characters. While I tend to lean toward serious characters and stories, comedic relief is more than welcome (and generally inevitable in my experience). Adult Content: I'm fine with mature themes if everyone else is.

Im Val! Im a experience dnd player and dm! Been playing for a few years now, and have been running my own campaign! Im currently in one long term campaign as well, which goes on fridays! The one I dm runs on Thursdays, so Im looking for something around 9 pm mst during the week! Im most interested in a high fantasy setting with lots of rp opportunities! I started playing when I was 10 years old back when my father designed a simple TTRPG system for me to enjoy and spend time together. I focus heavily on informed improvisation and adjusting to my player's wishes, as well as introducing them into the narrative both by their backstory or the future events being related to themes and character arcs. I used to dislike D&D but after having an actually good experience (which took a while, since I had several poor ones before) I started to DM for the most popular system and learnt how to love it. We're definitely in a toxic relationship.

I'm kinda new at d&d have been wanting to play since I was 10 now I'm 16 and going to turn 17 soon. I've also only played 4 sessions at a old school now I'm looking for a new more permanent group hopefully someone will let me join. I do have the 5e rulebook but not the 2024 ones. Also they are kinda beat up haven't used them in years. Also always wanted to play frostgrave, trench crusade, and star wars legions. Also the main deal breakers are paid games and distance. I have played D&D and other TTRPGs on and off since '79, when I started with the Basic Set and module B1 (not The Keep on the Borderlands - that is B2 - B1 was a dungeon crawl with a Gelatinous Cube)! I'm a Gen-X & I like a good mix of RP (includiing intrigue!), creative problem solving, and combat. I actually started as a DM, and then shifted to spending more time as a player, running my own games intermittently. I am currently into the 2024 edition rules for 5e (except that I much prefer the 2014 DMG). I am also interested in exploring new TTRPGs. I have tried a variety of older systems, including Gamma World, Paladium, CoC (one-shots!), Rolemaster, VTM (not really my thing), Werewolf and others. I used to own several Traveller books, but only got so far as creating star systems, planets, aliens and ships - never having launched an actual game or campaign. I would love to try a space TTRPG at some point. I am most familiar with AD&D, 2e, and 5e. My exposure to 3e was through playing Neverwinter Nights, but it seemed pretty solid! I am currently working on building my own 5e homebrew campaign in Foundry VTT. In the meantime I would love to meet some new people and play some more! IMPORTANT: Also, I recently decided to boycott Discord due to their use of invasive AI to profile its users. I am against AI profiling.
