My name is Bina and I have only in my mid-30s been intrigued by ttrpgs. I've always been a writer and a storyteller and fell in love with Dimension 20 and just the overall concept of group storytelling using shiny math rocks. My work schedule prevents me from being able to participate in d&d nights at my local game store, and while I'm open to DMing in the future, I would love to first find a group to join as a new player to get my sea legs underneath me first. I love fantasy and sci-fi of most kinds, but have noticed that a lot of people tend to gravitate to darker, grittier settings and horror. I would like to avoid that if at all possible, and my ideal fit would be a more whimsical and hopeful setting. I fell in love with gnomes as a race/species as I have ADHD and the descriptions of gnomes just screams ADHD to me. Plus, in my reading I have discovered that gnomes are one of the lesser-played races and that's heartbreaking to me and I can't let that stand.
