Hi there. Our gaming group has a chair to fill at the table since we recently lost a player due to a schedule change. I run game once a month at the wife and I's house in the Rosemont area of Sacramento.  I've been running games since 1995 when I had the AD&D 2E Dungeon Masters Guide thrust into my hands at a local game store.  Since then I've run and played many games and run multiple campaigns that stretched on for years. Now with work and life schedules with myself and my players being in our 40s and 50s we only play once a month on a Saturday selected by how many folks are available, from 1pm until around 5pm-6pm.   Since we only get to play one a month I now try and look for rules light games that are fast for people to learn and run episodic adventures that hopefully can be wrapped in a single session but still connected together as a mini-campaign.  After ending a long running 5E campaign a few years ago, I've been running the group through mini-campaigns of games such as Savage Worlds, Vagabond, Delta Green, and currently Shadowdark.  I recently got a lot of Pirate Borg products and Conan: The Hyborian Age, so those are also on the agenda to run and see if folks have a good time with.   Finding people who want to play anything other than 5E is difficult these days, but if anyone reading this is looking for a chill group of gamers and willing to try out different games, feel free to reach out!
