Your party will have fled from the collapsing Hadean empire, to make a new life in the frigid frontier land of the Forbidden North, with the clothes on your back, and a strange relic you managed to nab before jumping aboard the Rime Maiden, a sea vessel who’s next stop is Valkengard, one of the largest settlements of the north. ^Preferences for Applicants: 21 years of age or older. Players who are willing to take initiative and have goals, but are able to work with the group as a whole. Players who use little to no AI: I do not want to see it, as I have plenty of talented artistic friends, and seeing the “sameness” of such AI-slop kinda just disappoints me. I have taught much more complicated TTRPG’s to middle schoolers, I am confident I can teach OSE to adults. Players who have NOT read the Gods of the Forbidden North campaign before. There is murderers: go kick their asses. There is gore and violence. About the Referee: My name is Nate, I am a mid twenties male who has been playing TTRPG’s since before 2014. My first introduction was with D&D 4e, which I borrowed from a friend and hand copied the rulebook down like a church scribe illuminating a wonderous tome. I have ran and played in games from FFG Star Wars, Lancer, PF2E, GURPS to Honey Heist, Call of Cthulu, and City of Mist. I recently completed a 4 year, 100+ session spanning D&D 5e game, and after that, got hit by the truck of awesomeness that is the OSR space. I have dived in headfirst, absorbing Dolmenwood, OSE, Mausritter, Shadowdark, and Mothership like an all encompassing slime and ALL I CAN SAY IS IM ADDICTED.
